Welcome to Troop 845, a Boy Scout Troop serving the Chapel Hill, Carrboro area and exploring the greater Earth area for the last 50 years. The site can be a big place if you don't know what you're looking for so you can start on the About Us page and maybe move to the photos page next to get a flavor of the epicness. Also, be sure to sign our guestbook while you're here.
We're Back - It was an incredible summer of adventuring for the Scouts of Troop 845. We had three separate high adventure trips go out as well as crews heading to two separate summer camps. Our younger Scouts headed to Pennsylvania and did one of the more historic sections of the AT from Caledonia State Park 65 miles north to Duncannon PA. Another crew braved one of the biggest wildernesses on the east coast in the 100 Mile Wilderness up in Maine. And our oldest Scouts headed around the world for a 26 day trek in the Himalayas of Nepal all the way up to Everest Base Camp at 17,500 feet. Read more about the Nepal trek here or browse the huge gallery.
This year's weekend program promises to be great, so stay tuned for more stories and adventures.
